Privacy policy

DigitalU builds live AI versions of creators, businesses and teams — an agent people can talk to by voice or text — from material the owner chooses. This page says, in plain language, what we collect to do that, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do. It covers digitalu.live, agentworx.live, letsbanter.live and the app behind them (app.digitalu.live, app.agentworx.live, app.letsbanter.live), including our app inside Fanvue.

If you own an agent

  • Your account: your email (or your Fanvue identity, if you set up inside Fanvue) and your plan.
  • The material you give your agent: public pages we read at your request (your site, Substack, podcast or YouTube feed, a listing, a team's ESPN page), text you paste, documents you upload, and the settings you choose (face, voice, greeting, how it speaks).
  • If you connect Fanvue: your Fanvue profile (name, handle, bio), the text of your recent posts if you ask us to build from them, whether a given fan subscribes to you (only to decide their access), and the experiences you publish. We don't read your messages or your earnings.
  • If you connect other memberships (Patreon, Memberful, your own Stripe, Gumroad, an email list): only what's needed to check whether a reader is a paying member.

If you talk to an agent

  • The conversation: what you said and what the agent said, as text. Your voice is turned into text so the agent can answer. The agent's owner can read the conversations their agent has.
  • An anonymous browser id, so the agent can pick up where you left off. If you save a host to your account, the conversation follows your account; you choose whether the owner sees who you are (anonymous by default).
  • If you pay or verify a membership: your access and its source. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
  • The camera is only used if you turn it on, and only to show you to yourself.

Why we use it

To build and run the agents, show owners what their audience asked, check access to paid agents, bill plans, keep the service secure, and fix problems. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use your conversations to advertise to you.

Who processes it for us

Providers that run parts of the service under contract: real-time voice and video (speech-to-text, text-to-speech and the avatar video), the language models that write the answers, hosting and storage, email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe), and sign-in (our authentication service; Google if you sign in with Google). Public live data such as scores comes from ESPN's public feeds.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

  • Material and conversations are kept while the agent exists. Delete an agent and its material and conversations go with it.
  • If you saved a host, you can delete your own conversation with it from your account at any time.
  • To delete your account, or to see, correct or export what we hold about you, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to stop using it; if you're in the EU or UK these are your GDPR rights, and you can also complain to your data-protection authority. We process your data to provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep it secure (legitimate interest), and where you've agreed (consent — for example the camera).

Children

DigitalU isn't for children under 16, and agents built for adult creators are for adults only.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and, for account owners, by email.
